Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms describe the rules for using Shantaa, operated by CodeFounders Technologies - F.Z.E in the United Arab Emirates. They should be read with the Privacy Policy and the details of your individual booking.

The marketplace

Shantaa connects senders, travelers and participating agencies. CodeFounders provides the platform; it is not the airline, customs authority or parcel carrier. A listing is not a promise that an airline or authority will accept an item.

Travelers and senders agree the carriage details directly. Agency services may have separate terms that the agency must disclose before you agree. Shantaa does not currently collect shipment payments, hold escrow funds or automatically issue payment refunds.

Accounts and accurate information

You must be at least 18 and able to enter an agreement to create an account or arrange carriage. Provide accurate contact details, protect your login and do not impersonate another person. An individual account can act as both sender and traveler.

Verification is optional where the service allows it. A verification badge indicates the verification step recorded by Shantaa; it is not a background-check guarantee, insurance policy or endorsement of every listing. Accounts and listings without a badge can still appear publicly.

Weights, prices and handovers

Before confirming, agree the parcel contents, exact weight including packaging, route, dates, price, currency, payment arrangement and collection and delivery locations. Fractional kilograms can be booked within the trip's available capacity. Do not assume advertised space guarantees an airline baggage allowance.

The carrier or authorized agency handler may inspect the parcel with the sender before collection and refuse unknown, sealed, undeclared, unsafe or mismatched contents. Keep booking references and evidence of agreed handovers and payment. A recipient must be available as agreed. Do not mark a parcel delivered before the actual handover.

Permitted items and travel rules

Do not offer or carry illegal, stolen, prohibited or unsafe items. Controlled medicines, batteries, liquids, food, valuables and other restricted goods may require approval or documentation, or may not be allowed at all. Check the rules that apply to the actual route, item and airline; this list is not exhaustive.

Senders must describe contents truthfully, permit inspection before collection and supply required documents. Travelers and agency handlers must know what they carry and comply with operator, security, customs and import/export requirements. A Shantaa review does not guarantee that an authority or operator will permit carriage. Never carry an unknown sealed parcel that cannot be inspected.

Cancellations and disputes

Cancel an open request through your account when it is no longer needed. For a confirmed shipment, use the cancellation-request or dispute process available in the dashboard. A review request does not itself guarantee approval, repayment or compensation.

Report missing items, damage, delays or payment disagreements promptly with the booking reference and relevant evidence. Administrators can review records and help coordinate; they cannot reverse payments made outside Shantaa. Statutory rights and any lawful obligations of the responsible party remain unchanged.

Responsible use

Do not harass users, post misleading information, expose another person's private data, upload harmful content or attempt to bypass security and capacity controls. Keep public listing descriptions free of sensitive personal documents.

Shantaa may restrict accounts or remove listings to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law. Contact support if you believe a restriction was applied incorrectly. Restrictions do not erase obligations arising from an existing lawful booking.

Advertising and third-party services

Sponsored offers are separate from shipment bookings. Tickets, insurance and other products offered by advertisers are supplied under the advertiser's terms. An advert is not a guarantee of suitability, coverage or Shantaa's endorsement.

Advertising enquiries are reviewed by our team. Campaign dates, placement, approved creative, price and payment are agreed separately before publication. Enquiring through Contact does not reserve a slot or create a paid campaign.

Responsibility and applicable law

Each participant remains responsible for their own representations and agreed obligations. CodeFounders remains responsible for obligations that applicable law places on the platform operator. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Applicable United Arab Emirates law governs these terms, subject to mandatory laws and competent authorities that apply to the parties or transaction. Contact us first about a platform issue; this does not prevent you from using lawful complaint or legal remedies.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the service changes. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated where required. Contact us for questions about these terms or a specific booking.
